Abstract
Conclusion: In the opinion of the authors, the team approach to the examination and treatment of suspected airway interference is a logical use of professional resources appropriate for a given patient. The myofunctional clinician is an excellent professional to initiate a team approach to patients with suspected airway problems. To us, the use of the above protocol is a positive step in continued attempts to provide quality care for those patients requiring airway management.
